Currently, committees have the option to file with ELECTrack EFS or MD CRIS. If the political committee filed using ELECTrack EFS, the campaign finance report will appear on the Elections Center website and not in MD CRIS. Additionally, if a political committee filed using MD CRIS, the campaign finance report will appear only in MD CRIS and not on the Elections Center website. After February 13, all campaign finance reports will be in MD CRIS. In the meantime, please check both sites in order to view a filed report.

Finally, February 6 will be the last day a political committee can submit a campaign finance report using ELECTrack EFS. After February 6, ELECTrack EFS will be discontinued and no longer a method to file reports. The political committee will have to "Reconnect to Your Committee" on MD CRIS and file using the new system. Unfiled campaign finance reports in ELECTrack EFS will not be on MD CRIS. Therefore, it is imperative that you file all outstanding reports in ELECTrack EFS prior to February 6. If you have any questions, please contact the Division of Candidacy and Campaign Finance at 410-269-2880.

Important notations: Some contributors may have one of the following notations after their name:

  • Administrative: Indicates that the contribution was given to the recipient to cover the cost of administrative expenses. An administrative contribution does not count towards the contributor's contribution limits.
  • Returned: Indicates that the contribution was returned to the contributor. The amount of a returned contribution is deducted from the contributor's aggregate contribution total.

Report data electronically filed will be posted on this website weekly.
